WORKS: Security Street Lighting Upgrade
Client: Deakin University - Burwood Campus

Locate underground Services & confirm design practicality. Update as required to improve efficiency, safety & build ability through liaison with Deakin Project Supervisor
Supply and installation by trenching & boring or underground trunking conduits and cable pit network between distribution boards and lighting pole networks across 5 separate locations
Full reinstatement of footpaths & other surfaces affected by civil works
Supply & installation of appropriately sized trunking cables through each lighting system
Carry out Geo-tech surveys to ensure appropriate pole foundation design
Installation of foundations, lighting columns & outreaches outside normal working hours
Supply and installation of external pole mounted luminaires including remote control gear
Modifications to existing switchboards to incorporate new lighting circuits.
Supply and installation of Residual Current Devices in accordance with AS:3000.
Installation of photoelectric cell & manual bypass facility for lighting control where no existing security lighting system exists
Integration of new lighting to existing automated lighting control systems, where appropriate
Connect sub-circuit wiring, test & commission individual lighting systems
Supply and installation of cable identification markers, both concrete on surfaces and tapes in trenches.
Supply & Installation of SS conduit route markers throughout installed lighting systems
Provision of ‘As built’ Auto-cad drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.
Carry out works with minimal disruption to the University’s daily activities.
