WORKS: Residual Current Device (RCD) Installation Program
Client: Museum Victoria - Melbourne Museum

Scope of Works
To raise all services to a high level of compliance. All general power outlets identified in approximately 132 switchboards located, will be upgraded with RCD’s.
This will include over 300 RCD’s to be supplied and installed.
Works will include a high level of coordination working in and around the public spaces, labs, back of house and administrative areas.
Each area has individual restraints regarding hours of operation and access.
Supply and installation of RCD’s to identify circuits
Removal of all redundant electrical rubble
Coordination of all works in conjunction with the Project Manager
Allowance for supervision, insurances and all after hours works as required.
Provision of expert advice as required by the project.
Some remedial works may be required to repair faulty circuitry.
Management of the Site and all safety and regulatory requirements to maintain full operation of the Melbourne Museum.
Challenges
To liaise with multiple stakeholders and departments to ensure works were delivered without impact or interference.
Delivery of all works outside normal hours to ensure the Museums operation or general public were not affected by shut down of power.
