PCB Removal
PCBs were widely used in electrical equipment generally up until the late 1980’s in items such as transformers, generators and capacitors. Due to concerns about health effects, the importation and manufacture of PCBs in Australia has been banned since the 1970’s and the phasing out of equipment containing PCBs has been ongoing since this time.
JNJ Electrics have developed a comprehensive works program to ensure that any PCB’s can be identified, removed and disposed of in accordance with the required legislation.
